Stuffed blue cheese burgers are a perfect way to serve burgers, but not just any burgers, stuffed burgers on your kamado grill.
Stuff you’ll need:
80/20 Ground beef
Crumbled blue cheese
Onion/roll (or bun of your choice)
Make the patties as thin as possible since two patties will be used to form one burger. After you have two thin patties, sprinkle the blue cheese atop the bottom patty then place the remaining patty on top, forming one stuffed burger. (Tip, do NOT place anything that needs to be cooked in the center of the patties).
After you have the burgers stuffed, place the BBQ rub on them (I use Dizzy Dust by Dizzy Pig BBQ)
Slice up some fresh red onion and tomato to top the burgers.
Direct heating @ 400° for 5-6 minutes per side.
